This scholarship is established in memory of the late Chris Argyris, the James Bryant Conant Professor of Education and Organization Behavior at Harvard and a Member of ALBA’s Academic Council. A highly influential management theorist, Professor Argyris was widely regarded as the “father” of Organization Behavior.
In 1992 Professor Argyris responded enthusiastically in our invitation to serve on ALBA’s Academic Council; he participated in several meetings of the Council; and he delivered the inaugural lecture of our MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management program. He also delivered lectures to our MBA students and to ALBA’s stakeholders. He offered invaluable advice pro-bono to the Board of Directors and to the Dean of ALBA and played a vital role in the development of the School.
The Chris Argyris Scholarship in Organization Behavior is a merit based scholarship covering 100% of the tuition fees in the program (full scholarship). Eligible candidates must demonstrate a strong profile and a bachelor C.I. higher than 7,5/10.
Extracurricular activities, volunteering and related work experience would be highly appreciated. Shortlist and final decision will be taken by the ALBA admission committee. Eligible candidates must meet all of the program’s admission criteria as mentioned in the ALBA website.

More about Chris Argyris Professor Argyris had appointments at both the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Harvard Business School. He served at Harvard University for 21 years (1971 – 1992). Prior to Harvard, he spent 20 years at Yale where he was instrumental in the creation of the Yale School of Management. He authored more than 30 books and 150 articles on Organization Learning, Organizational Change etc.
