Το πρόγραμμα οδηγεί στις ακόλουθες κατευθύνσεις.

Το σύνολο των μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών που θα εισαχθούν στις παραπάνω κατευθύνσεις δεν μπορεί να υπερβαίνει τους πενήντα, εκ των οποίων οι δέκα αφορούν υποψηφίους υπηκόους χωρών εκτός Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (ΕΕ). Αρχικός προγραμματισμός: Το ελάχιστο τρεις μεταπτυχιακοί φοιτητές ανά κατεύθυνση.

Ειδικότερα για την κατεύθυνση της Ορθοδοντικής ο αριθμός εισακτέων ορίζεται σε έξι άτομα. Τέσσερα από τα άτομα αυτά θα είναι Έλληνες υπήκοοι ή υπήκοοι άλλων χωρών της Ε.Ε. και δύο από τα άτομα αυτά θα είναι υπήκοοι χωρών εκτός της Ε.Ε. Σε περίπτωση που οι θέσεις που προορίζονται για τους υπηκόους χωρών εκτός της Ε.Ε. παραμένουν κενές, είτε γιατί δεν υπάρχουν υποψήφιοι είτε γιατί οι γνώσεις και η επιστημονική επάρκεια των υποψηφίων κριθεί μη ικανοποιητική, αυτές μπορούν να πληρωθούν από τους επιλαχόντες υποψηφίους υπηκόους χωρών της Ε.Ε. σύμφωνα με τη σειρά κατάταξής τους.

Για την απόκτηση Μεταπτυχιακού Διπλώματος Ειδίκευσης γίνονται δεκτοί πτυχιούχοι Τμημάτων Οδοντιατρικής των πανεπιστημίων της ημεδαπής ή ομοταγών αναγνωρισμένων Ιδρυμάτων της αλλοδαπής, με αναγνώριση ισοτιμίας από τον ΔΟΑΤΑΠ (www.doatap.gr).

Η επιλογή των υποψηφίων μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών θα γίνει με συνεκτίμηση των εξής κριτηρίων:

α. Το γενικό βαθμό πτυχίου.

β. Τη βαθμολογία των προπτυχιακών μαθημάτων που σχετίζονται με την συγκεκριμένη κατεύθυνση επιλογής του ΠΜΣ.

γ. Την προηγούμενη ερευνητική και επιστημονική δραστηριότητα του υποψήφιου.

δ. Την εν γένει προσωπικότητα και επιστημονική συγκρότηση του υποψηφίου, όπως θα προκύψει από συνέντευξή του σε επιτροπή της Συντονιστικής Επιτροπής του Προγράμματος.

ε. Την επιστημονική επάρκεια του υποψηφίου από διεξαγωγή εξετάσεων στο αντικείμενο τηςσυγκεκριμένης κατεύθυνσης. Η διενέργεια εξετάσεων είναι υποχρεωτική για τις κατευθύνσεις: 1) Ορθοδοντική, 2)Στοματολογία, 3)Προσθετική, 4)Οδοντοφατνιακή Χειρουργική και Ακτινολογία Στόματος και 5) Περιοδοντολογία.

Επιπρόσθετα, για την κατεύθυνση της Ορθοδοντικής απαιτείται ύπαρξη διετούς τουλάχιστον οδοντιατρικής κλινικής εμπειρίας που προσμετράται μόνο έπειτα από την απόκτηση του πτυχίου της Οδοντιατρικής.

Απαραίτητη προϋπόθεση είναι η πιστοποίηση άριστης γνώσης της αγγλικής γλώσσας επιπέδου Γ2 (C2) με τα πιστοποιητικά που ορίζονται από τις προκηρύξεις του Α.Σ.Ε.Π. ως εξής:

- Κρατικό Πιστοποιητικό γλωσσομάθειας επιπέδου Γ2/C2.

- Certificate of Proficiency in English των Πανεπιστημίων Cambridge ή Michigan.

- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) από το University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES)-The British Council-IDP Education Australia IELTS Australia με βαθμολογία 7.5 και άνω.

- London Tests of English Level 5-Proficient Communication-EDEXCEL.

- City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in ESOL International (reading, writing and listening) - MASTERY- και City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in ESOL International (spoken)-MASTERY (συνυποβάλλονται αθροιστικά για την απόδειξη της άριστης γνώσης) ή City and Guilds Certificate in International ESOL-MASTERY- και Guilds Certificate in International Spoken ESOL-MASTERY (συνυποβάλλονται αθροιστικά για την απόδειξη της άριστης γνώσης).

- Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), βαθμολογία από 905 και άνω του Educational Testing Service/Chauncey, USA. Proslipsis.gr

- TOEFL score: 220 παλιό σύστημα εξέτασης, 80 νέο σύστημα εξέτασης.

- BULATS English Language Test, Βαθμολογία 90-100, του Πανεπιστημίου Cambridge.

- ISE IV Integrated Skills in English Level 3 Certificate in ESOL International του Trinity College London.

- OCNW Certificate in ESOL International at Level 3 (Common European Framework equivalent level C2).

- ESB Level 3 Certificate in ESOL International All modes (Council of Europe Level C2).

- Test of Interactive English, C2 Level.Πτυχίο ή μεταπτυχιακός τίτλος από ΑΕΙ της αλλοδαπής (αγγλόφωνο), πτυχίο Τμήματος Αγγλικής Γλώσσας ελληνικού πανεπιστημίου.Για αλλοδαπούς υποψηφίους απαιτούνται αποδεδειγμένα στοιχεία γνώσης και της ελληνικής γλώσσας.

Οι συνεντεύξεις θα πραγματοποιηθούν από 8-10 Ιουνίου 2015, σύμφωνα με πρόγραμμα που θα ανακοινωθεί στη Γραμματεία, αλλά και στην ιστοσελίδα του Τμήματος (www.dent.auth.gr). Η ανάρτηση του πίνακα τελικής αξιολόγησης και κατάταξης των υποψηφίων Μ.Φ. θα γίνει στις 22-6-15.

Κάθε υποψήφιος οφείλει να υποβάλει εμπρόθεσμα, μέχρι 29 Μαΐου 2015, αυτοπροσώπως ή με συστημένη επιστολή στη Γραμματεία του Τμήματος Οδοντιατρικής, μετά την ανακοίνωση της προκήρυξης, σχετική αίτηση (φόρμα ιστοσελίδας www.dent.auth.gr) με τα ακόλουθα δικαιολογητικά:

1. Αίτηση (φόρμα ιστοσελίδας www.dent.auth.gr).

2. Αντίγραφο πτυχίου (Για αλλοδαπούς υποψηφίους αναγνώριση ισοτιμίας από τον Δ.Ο.Α.Τ.Α.Π.).

3. Πιστοποιητικό αναλυτικής βαθμολογίας.

4. Βιογραφικό σημείωμα (φόρμα ιστοσελίδας www.dent.auth.gr).

Αποδεικτικά στοιχεία οποιασδήποτε άλλης ερευνητικής ή μεταπτυχιακής επιστημονικής δραστηριότητας. Η κλινική εμπειρία πρέπει να αποδεικνύεται: α) από πιστοποιητικό άδειας λειτουργίας οδοντιατρείου και δελτία παροχής υπηρεσιών, ή β) από πιστοποιητικό προϋπηρεσίας σε θέση οδοντιάτρου στις ένοπλες δυνάμεις ή σε άλλη υπηρεσία, ή γ) από την εγγραφή στο ΤΣΑΥ.

5. Πιστοποιητικά αγγλικής γλώσσας (Για αλλοδαπούς υποψηφίους, επιπλέον πιστοποιητικά ελληνικής γλώσσας).

6. Συστατικές επιστολές.

Οι υποψήφιοι έχουν δικαίωμα να υποβάλουν αιτήσεις το ανώτερο σε δύο κατευθύνσεις του ΠΜΣ. Σε περίπτωση υποβολής αιτήσεων σε δύο (2) κατευθύνσεις κατατίθενται δύο ξεχωριστοί φάκελοι υποψηφιότητας, ένας για κάθε κατεύθυνση στον οποίο θα δηλώνεται η σειρά προτίμησης.

Οι μεταπτυχιακοί φοιτητές που θα γίνουν δεκτοί στο ΠΜΣ υποχρεούνται όπως με δικά τους έξοδα προμηθευτούν εξοπλισμό απαραίτητο για την κλινική και εργαστηριακή εκπαίδευσή τους και να επιβαρυνθούν το κόστος του παραβόλου της κλινικής τους άσκησης. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

The School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki organizes for the academic year

2015-2016 Program of Postgraduate Studies in Dentistry according to the provisions of the decision

no. 210817/Ζ1 (FEK 3608/Β’/2014) of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs

and the transitional provisions of the Law 3685/08 for the following Disciplines:

1. Orthodontics

2. Periodontology

3. Pediatric Dentistry

4. Endodontology

5. Operative and Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry

6. Prosthodontics

7. Oral Surgery, Implantology and Dental Radiology

8. Oral Medicine and Pathology

9. Hospital Dentistry

The total number of the Postgraduate students admitted in the above Disciplines cannot exceed fifty

(50), while ten (10) of them are citizens of non-European Union Countries.First programming of

students admitted: At least three (3) for each Discipline.

More specifically, for the Discipline of Orthodontics the number of the students admitted in the

program is set to six (6) students. Four (4) of them will be Greek citizens or citizens of Countriesmembers

of the European Union and two (2) of them will be citizens of non-European Union

Countries. In case the last two positions are not filled with non-EU citizens, either because there are not any candidates or because their knowledge and scientific competence will be judged to be

insufficient, then they can be covered by candidates who are EU citizens, according to their ranking.

Only graduates of Schools of Dentistry of national Universities or graduates from foreign recognized

Dental Institutions with a valid certification of equivalence by the Hellenic NARIC (www.doatap.gr)

are admitted to the Program.

The selection of the candidates accepted in the program is based on the co-evaluation of the

following criteria:

a. Total grade of the Dental Degree.

b. The grades of the undergraduate courses related to the specific Discipline chosen by the

candidate.

c. The candidate’s previous research and scientific activity.

d. The candidate’s personality and scientific maturity as arisen during his/hers interview taken by the

Coordinating Committee of the Program.

e. The candidate’s scientific competence as proven by an examination on the field of the Discipline

chosen. The examination is compulsory for the Disciplines: 1) Orthodontics, 2) Oral Pathology, 3)

Prosthodontics, 4) Oral Surgery, Implantology and dental Radiology, and 5) Periodontology.

In addition, for the Discipline of Orthodontics, a two-year clinical experience in Dentistry gained after

receiving the Dental Degree is required.

For all applicants, the certified knowledge of the English language level C2 is a mandatory

requirement, as it can be proven by the certificates mentioned below:

- Greek National Foreign Language Exam System (C2).

- Certificate of Proficiency in English, University of Cambridge or Michigan.

- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - University of Cambridge Local

Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) - The British Council-IDP Education Australia IELTS Australia,

total score 7.5 or higher.

– 10th June 2015, according to the schedule that will be

announced by the General Secretariat in the notice board of the School, as well as in the Schools’

website (www.dent.auth.gr).

The board with the candidates’ final evaluation and ranking will be published on 22nd June 2015.

Each candidate should submit on time in person or with registered mail the relevant application form

(it can be downloaded from the website www.dent.auth.gr) along with all the following documents:

1. Application (it can be downloaded from the website www.dent.auth.gr).

2. Copy of Degree Certificate. [For candidates from foreign countries, a valid certification of

equivalence of their Dental Degree by the Hellenic NARIC (www.doatap.gr) is required].

3. Transcript of Records.

4. Curriculum Vitae (it can be downloaded from the website www.dent.auth.gr).

Certificates should be provided for any clinical practice, teaching, research or other scientific

activity. The clinical experience is proven by: a) a certificate to run an authorized dental office

along with the invoices issued for the services provided, or b) a certificate for previous dental

experience in Armed Forces or other Service, or c) a certificate of registration in the Doctors’

Social Ιnsurance Service.

5. English language knowledge certificate. (For candidates from foreign countries a Greek language

knowledge certificate is required in addition).

6. Recommendation letters.

The candidates have the right to apply for up to two (2) Disciplines of the Program. In case the

candidates apply for two (2) Disciplines, two separate files are submitted, one for each discipline,

mentioning the order of preference.

The postgraduate students who will be admitted to the Program should purchase at their own

expenses the equipment necessary for their clinical and laboratory training, as well as pay the fee for

their clinical practice. Related information can be obtained by the General Secretariat of the School

of Dentistry or the Secretariats of the relevant Disciplines.
